Wyoming PBS (formerly known as Wyoming Public Television) is the PBS member network in the U.S. state of Wyoming. It currently consists of flagship KCWC-DT (channel 4) in Lander (serving Riverton); full-power satellites KWYP-DT (channel 8) in Laramie (serving Cheyenne) and KPTW (channel 6) in Casper; and over 35 low-power translator stations across the state. The network is operated by Central Wyoming College, a community college in Riverton which owns the licenses to all of the state's PBS stations, with studios located on the Central Wyoming College campus. History Wyoming had been among the first states to begin the groundwork for a non-commercial educational/public television station, doing so in 1951, three years before any television station was on the air in the state. KHMT (channel 4) is a television station licensed to Hardin, Montana, United States, serving as the Fox affiliate for the Billings area. It is owned by Mission Broadcasting, which maintains joint sales and shared services agreements (JSA/SSA) with Nexstar Media Group, owner of ABC affiliate KSVI (channel 6), for the provision of certain services. Both stations share studios on South 24th Street West in Billings, while KHMT's transmitter is located in unincorporated southeastern Yellowstone County (southeast of Indian Arrow). However, master control and some internal operations are based at the shared studios of Nexstar sister stations KDVR and KWGN-TV in Denver. K19FD-D is a low-power television station serving Camp Verde, Arizona. It broadcasts in digital on UHF channel 19 from its transmitter located on Squaw Peak south of town, and is an affiliate of The Hope Channel, the flagship station of the Adventist Television Network (ATN), operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The station is locally owned by Central States Communications. History An original construction permit was granted to Central States Communications on July 3, 2002 to build a low-power television station K19FD on channel 19 to serve Camp Verde. The station was licensed on June 13, 2005, but did not begin airing programming until early 2006. The station was licensed for digital operation effective January 14, 2022, changing its name to K19FD-D. KSTU
KSTU (channel 13) is a television station in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, affiliated with the Fox network. It is owned by the E. W. Scripps Company alongside Provo-licensed Ion Television owned-and-operated station KUPX-TV (channel 16). KSTU's studios are located on West Amelia Earhart Drive in the northwestern section of Salt Lake City, and its transmitter is located on Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains, southwest of Salt Lake City. More than 80 dependent translators carry its signal throughout Utah and portions of neighboring states. KSTU went on the air in 1978 as the first modern independent station in Salt Lake City.
