Chanel Mata'utia-Leifi (pronounced ma-ta-oo-tee-a) (born 17 August 1992) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer. He plays for the Cessnock Goannas in the Newcastle Rugby League. His positions are and . He previously played for the Newcastle Knights in the National Rugby League. Background Mata'utia was born in Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia. He is of Samoan descent. He is the younger brother of former Knights teammate Peter Mata'utia, now of Castleford Tigers in the European Super League, and is the older brother of Knights teammates Pat Mata'utia and Sione Mata'utia. He played his junior football for the Bankstown Cougars, before moving to Newcastle, New South Wales at a young age and playing for the South Newcastle Lions in the Newcastle Rugby League. The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in Belmore, a suburb in the Canterbury-Bankstown region of Sydney. The 2014 Rugby League Four Nations tournament was the fourth staging of the Rugby League Four Nations tournament played in Australia and New Zealand over three weeks from Saturday, 25 October to Saturday, 15 November 2014. Doug McRitchie
Douglas Allan McRitchie (1923–1998) was an Australian rugby league player who played in the 1940s and 1950s. A New South Wales state and Australia national representative centre, he played his club football in Sydney for the St. George club. St. George career McRitchie was a St. George local junior who was graded in 1940. He had a long career with the club playing eight seasons in first grade between 1942 and 1950. McRitchie featured in three Grand finals for the club. He was part of two sides who lost deciders - 1942 and 1946 and saw success with the 1949 premiership team. His career was disrupted during by WWII, he enlisted in the AIF and he saw service in New Guinea with the 129 Australian Brigade. After demobilisation, he resumed his playing career at St George, and he captained and co-coached the club with head coach Charlie Lynch in the 1947 NSWRFL season. Bill McRitchie
William Arthur McRitchie (1917–1990) was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s. Career Bill McRitchie was a St. George prop forward who played four seasons with the club between 1942–1945. He was introduced to rugby league by the then Saints captain/coach Neville Smith in 1940. A Brighton-Le-Sands junior, McRitchie and his younger brother Doug McRitchie, both debuted for St George in 1942 although, Doug was a tall winger and Bill was a massive prop. The brothers won the A Grade premiership with Brighton club in 1941 and they were both graded in 1942. They both played together in the 1942 Grand Final. Bill McRitchie's career was cut short in 1945 after his ear lobe was torn off in a scrum during a match against Newtown on 28 July 1945 at Henson Park. The Sydney Roosters are an Australian professional Rugby league, Rugby League Football Club based in the Eastern Suburbs (Sydney) and parts of inner Sydney. The club competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. The 2014 NRL season was the 107th season of professional rugby league in Australia and the 17th season of the National Rugby League in Australia and New Zealand. Queensland Residents Rugby League Team
The Queensland Residents rugby league team is a representative rugby league team consisting of players who compete in the Intrust Super Cup (Queensland Cup) competition. They currently play an annual fixture against NSW Cup Representative Team, often as a curtain raiser to a State of Origin game. The team is administered by the Queensland Rugby League and regularly played its home matches at Suncorp Stadium, until 2015, when they starting playing at Brisbane's Langlands Park (now known as Suzuki Stadium). Up until 1995, the side played against touring international sides and went on tours to countries like New Zealand and France.
