Chandamama (1999 Film)
''Chandamama'' is 1999 Indian Malayalam-language Black comedy film directed by Murali Krishnan and written by Rajan Kiriyath, starring Kunchako Boban, Tejali Ghanekar, Jagathi Sreekumar, Sudheesh and Kalabhavan Navas.It is loosely based on 1989 American comedy film Weekend at Bernie's directed by Ted Kotcheff. Plot Three friends, Unni, Dasan and Monayi, find their boss Eapachan murdered by hired killers. Believing that people will suspect them for the murder, they present the boss's dead body as if he is alive. They make others believe that he is alive. In the end they find out who the murderer is and get him arrested. Kunchako Boban
Kunchacko Boban (born 2 November 1976) is an Indian actor and film producer. Sometimes referred to as Chackochan, he works in the Malayalam film industry and has acted in more than 90 films in more than two decades. He is a member of the Kunchacko family. Kunchacko's debut was as a child in the film '' Dhanya'' (1981) produced by his father Boban Kunchacko. Harisree Ashokan is an Indian actor and director who is known for his comedy roles in Malayalam films. Ashokan has acted in more than 200 Malayalam films. He started his career as a mimicry artist in the troupe Harisree and then worked in Kalabhavan. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad.
