''Chances'' is the seventh studio album by Argentine musical duo Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas, released on October 31, 2012, through Sony Music Latin. The album was produced by the members of the duo, Dante Spinetta and Emmanuel Horvilleur, alongside Rafael Arcaute, it was mixed by Rafa Sardina, mastered by Chris Gehringer and includes a collaboration with Mexican band Molotov. The album was recorded at three dirrerent studios in Argentina, Ave Sexua, Unísono and Casa Submarina, and was the first album released by the duo since their reunion in 2011, almost eleven years after their previous album, ''Kuryakistan'', released on 2001, the same year the duo split. Illya Kuryaki And The Valderramas
Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas (IKV) is a musical duo formed in 1991 consisting of Dante Spinetta and Emmanuel Horvilleur, from Buenos Aires, Argentina. The duo split in 2001 to follow solo careers, but later performed together several times, and officially reunited in 2011. The duo took their name from a fictional character, the Soviet spy Illya Kuryakin in the hit 1960s TV show '' The Man from U.N.C.L.E.'', and the Colombian football player Carlos Valderrama. Their musical style is extremely wide-ranging, including hip-hop, rock, funk, and salsa. History The duo met as children as a result of the friendship between their parents. Molotov (band)
Molotov is a Mexican rock band formed in Mexico City in 1995. Their lyrics, which are rapped and sung by all members of the group, feature a mixture of Spanish and English. The band members also switch instruments and roles depending on what song they are performing. Biography The band began in 1995 when two friends, Tito Fuentes (guitar) and Micky "Chicho" Huidobro (bass), started playing together. The 14th Annual Latin Grammy Awards was held on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. This was the sixth time that Latin Grammys has been held at this location. The main telecast was broadcast on Univision at 8:00 PM EST. The nominations were announced on September 25, 2013. Chris Gehringer (born May 27, 1962) is an American mastering engineer, known for having mastered recordings such as Gwen Stefani's '' Love. Angel. Music. Baby.'' (2004), Rihanna's '' Loud'' (2010), Lady Gaga's '' Born This Way'' (2011) and Drake's '' Take Care'' (2011). Biography Gehringer was born in Teaneck, New Jersey and raised in Bergen County.
