The chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( Bosnian/ Croatian: ''Predsjedavajući Vijeća ministara Bosne i Hercegovine'', ) is the head of the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The chairman of the Council of Ministers is nominated by the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and appointed by the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As head of the government, the chairman of the Council of Ministers has no authority for appointing ministers, and their role is that of a coordinator. Ministers are appointed in their stead by the majority-parties according to ethnic and entity representation rules, so that a deputy minister must not be of same ethnicity as the respective minister. Borjana Krišto is the 11th and current chairwoman of the Council of Ministers. She took office on 25 January 2023, following the 2022 general election. Coat Of Arms Of Bosnia And Herzegovina
The coat of arms of Bosnia and Herzegovina was adopted in 1998, replacing the previous design that had been in use since 1992 when Bosnia and Herzegovina gained independence. It follows the design of the Flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina, national flag. The three-pointed shield is used to symbolize the three major ethnic groups of Bosnia, as well as allude to the shape of the country. The accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European Union (EU) is the stated aim of the present relations between the two entities. Denis Zvizdić (born 9 June 1964) is a Bosnian politician who served as Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2015 to 2019. He has been serving as member of the national House of Representatives since 2019. He also served as Premier of Sarajevo Canton from 2003 to 2006. Vjekoslav Bevanda (; born 13 May 1956) is a Bosnian Croat politician who served as Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2012 to 2015. Nikola Špirić (, ; born 4 September 1956) is a Bosnian Serb politician who served as Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2007 to 2012. Adnan Terzić
Adnan Terzić (born 5 April 1960) is a Bosnian politician who served as Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2002 to 2007. He was a longtime member of the Party of Democratic Action, until he left it to join the Union for a Better Future. Terzić was born in Zagreb in 1960, before moving to Sarajevo in his youth. Dragan Mikerević (Serbian Cyrillic: Драган Микеревић; born 12 February 1955) is a Bosnian Serb politician who served as the 8th Prime Minister of Republika Srpska from 2003 to 2005.
