Chad Williams (born October 19, 1994) is an American football wide receiver who is a free agent. He played college football at Grambling State. He was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round (98th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Indianapolis Colts, and the New Orleans Breakers of the United States Football League (USFL). The United States Football League (USFL) is a professional American football minor league that began play on April 16, 2022. The inaugural 2022 regular season was played in its entirety in Birmingham, Alabama. The postseason games were played in Canton, Ohio, at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. The league is currently owned by National Spring Football League Enterprises Co, LLC, a joint venture between founder Brian Woods and Fox Corporation's sports unit, Fox Sports in the United States. The XFL is a professional American football minor league consisting of eight teams located across the United States in mid-sized to major markets served by at least one other major professional sports team. Seasons run from February to April, with each team playing a ten-game regular season, and four progressing to the playoffs to crown a season champion. It is headquartered in Arlington, Texas. The league was founded by former WWE executive Vince McMahon in 2018, as a reboot and successor to the league of the same name he founded in 2001. 2022 USFL Draft
The 2022 USFL Draft, also known as the 2022 USFL Player Selection Meeting, was the player selection process to fill the rosters of the eight teams for the 2022 USFL season. The draft was held on February 22–23, 2022, with results released through the USFL's social media channels. Structure The USFL player allocation process will be held in multiple phases, separated by position groups. The league will use a "snake" format in each phase, in which the draft order reversed with each round. The draft order will be shuffled for each phase as predetermined through lotteries. A draft pool of 450–500 players are eligible to be picked after signing contracts before hand. The first five phases are scheduled for February 22, with the final two phases occurring on February 23. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). The National Basketball Association (NBA) does not have a direct analog to an injured reserve list, instead using a more general-purpose "inactive list" that does not require a player to be injured. Injured reserve lists are used because the rules of these leagues allow for only a certain numbers of players on each team's roster. Joshua Ballinger Lippincott Rosen (born February 10, 1997) is an American football quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the UCLA Bruins, receiving Freshman All-American and Pac-12 Freshman Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2015. During his junior year, Rosen set the school's record for single-season passing yards. Rosen was selected 10th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals, where he served as the team's starter during his rookie season.
