Ceva–Ormea Railway
The Ceva–Ormea railway is a local railway line of Piedmont in Italy, situated in the province of Cuneo, that connect Ormea to Ceva railway node, crossing the high valley of Tanaro. From 2016 is used only as a tourist railway. The tourist service is performed by Excursion train, historic trains of Fondazione FS, operated by Trenitalia, on specific dates. Various terms are used for passenger railway lines and equipment; the usage of these terms differs substantially between areas: Rapid transit A rapid transit system is an electric railway characterized by high speed (~) and rapid acceleration. It uses passenger railcars operating singly or in multiple unit trains on fixed rails.
