Centre Right (Liberal Party Of Australia)
The Centre Right Faction or Centre Right Group is a faction within the federal Australian Liberal Party that makeup one of its three major factions. It holds the middle position between the three factions: Moderate being to its left, the National Right being to its right. Beginning in 2009, the faction held its most dominant position in 2021–2022, and, as of 2023 only has a total of six federal MPs. The faction's main ideology can be seen as a soft mix of both the adjacent factions' ideologies. Scott Morrison
Scott John Morrison (; born 13 May 1968) is an Australian politician. He served as the 30th prime minister of Australia and as Leader of the Liberal Party of Australia from 2018 to 2022, and is currently the member of parliament (MP) for the New South Wales seat of Cook, a position he has held since 2007. Morrison was born in Sydney and studied economic geography at the University of New South Wales. He worked as director of the New Zealand Office of Tourism and Sport from 1998 to 2000 and was managing director of Tourism Australia from 2004 to 2006. Morrison also served as state director of the New South Wales Liberal Party from 2000 to 2004. A political faction is a group of individuals that share a common political purpose but differs in some respect to the rest of the entity. A faction within a group or political party may include fragmented sub-factions, "parties within a party," which may be referred to as power blocs, or voting blocs. Members of factions band together as a way of achieving these goals and advancing their agenda and position within an organisation. Faction acts as dissenters that emerge from one big organisation. In politics, these political factions may deflect into other political parties, that support their dissentive ideology and are more favourable towards them. Peter Dutton
Peter Craig Dutton (born 18 November 1970) is an Australian politician who has been leader of the opposition and leader of the Liberal Party since May 2022. He has represented the Queensland seat of Dickson in the House of Representatives since 2001 and held ministerial office in the Howard, Abbott, Turnbull and Morrison governments. Dutton grew up in Brisbane. He worked as a police officer in the Queensland Police for nearly a decade upon leaving school, and later ran a construction business with his father. The 2022 Australian federal election was held on Saturday 21 May 2022 to elect members of the 47th Parliament of Australia. Leadership spills of the federal parliamentary leadership of the Liberal Party of Australia were held on 21 and 24 August 2018 and were called by the incumbent leader of the party, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull. It has been nicknamed "spill week" in the media. The New Italian Social Movement or New MSI (''Nuovo Movimento Sociale Italiano'' or ''Nuovo MSI'') is a minor ultranationalist, chauvinist and totalitarian political party in Italy.
