Central Zone Cricket Team
The Central Zone cricket team is a first-class cricket team that represents central India in the Duleep Trophy and Deodhar Trophy. It is a composite team of players from six first-class Indian teams from central India competing in the Ranji Trophy: Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Railways, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Vidarbha. Central Zone has the fourth strongest track record of all the zones in the Duleep Trophy, as they have won the Trophy 5 times, with the best team, North Zone having won 17 times. Robin Bist
Robin Bist (born 2 November 1987) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Uttarakhand in domestic cricket. He is a right-hand batsman and an off-break bowler. He was part of Delhi Daredevils squad in the Indian Premier League. Bist was the leading run-scorer of Ranji Trophy 2011–12, where he scored 1034 runs from 16 innings at a whopping average of 86.16 including four centuries. His performances helped him get an IPL contract with the Delhi Daredevils. In November 2012 Robin Bist was released by Delhi Daredevils. Jalaj Saxena
Jalaj Sahai Saxena (born 15 December 1986) is an Indian cricketer. An all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm off spin, he is one of the most consistent performers in the Indian domestic circuit for over a decade. He made his domestic cricket debut for Madhya Pradesh in 2005 and later switched bases to Kerala in 2016. Early life Jalaj was born on 15 December 1986 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Left-arm orthodox spin, Left-arm off spin also known as slow left-arm orthodox spin bowling, is a type of Finger spin, left-arm finger spin bowling (cricket), bowling in the sport of cricket. Left-arm orthodox spin is bowled by a left-arm bowler finger spin, using the fingers to spin the ball from right to left of the cricket pitch (from the bowler's perspective). Ashok Menaria
Ashok Menaria (born 29 October 1990) is an Indian cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and slow left arm orthodox bowler who plays for Rajasthan. He played for the Rajasthan Royals from 2011 to 2013. Menaria began his competitive cricketing career playing for Rajasthan Under-15s, in their winless 2005-06 Polly Umrigar Trophy run. Leg Break
Leg spin is a type of spin bowling in cricket. A leg spinner bowls right-arm with a wrist spin action. The leg spinner's normal delivery causes the ball to spin from right to left (from the bowler's perspective) when the ball bounces on the pitch. For a right-handed batsman, that is away from the leg side, and this is where it gets the name leg break. Leg spinners bowl mostly leg breaks, varying them by adjusting the line and length, and amount of side spin versus topspin of the deliveries. Leg spinners also typically use variations of flight by sometimes looping the ball in the air, allowing any cross-breeze and the aerodynamic effects of the spinning ball to cause the ball to dip and drift before bouncing and spinning or "turning", sharply. Piyush Chawla (; born 24 December 1988) is an Indian cricketer who has played for the India national cricket team. He has also played for the India under-19 team and the Central Zone. He is seen as a leg-spinning all-rounder in domestic cricket.
