Central Provost Of Islamic Republic Of Iran Army
Central Provost of Islamic Republic of Iran Army ( fa, دژبان مرکز ارتش جمهوری اسلامی ایران; ''Dežbān Markaz''), acronymed DEJAJA ( fa, دژاجا), is the provost and military police with an authority within all military branches of Islamic Republic of Iran Army (''Artesh''). The provost is a subdivision to the military's Joint Staff and has seniority over designated provosts —like the "Sea Police" ( fa, پلیس دریائی) of Navy and the "Air Police" ( fa, پلیس هوائی) in the Air Force. The provost is also responsible for performing ceremonial duties; it has honor guard units, including the "Presidential Ceremony Guard" ( fa, گارد تشریفات ریاست جمهوری), which maneuvers during official trips of the President of Iran and during visits by heads of state. Mausoleum Of Ruhollah Khomeini
The mausoleum of Ruhollah Khomeini ( fa, آرامگاه روح الله خمینی) houses the tombs of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, his wife Khadijeh Saqafi, and his second son Ahmad Khomeini; and some political figures, such as former President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, former Vice President Hassan Habibi, Lieutenant General Ali Sayad Shirazi, Iranian Revolution figure Sadeq Tabatabaei, and MP Marzieh Hadidchi.
