Tuggerah () is a developing suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, situated on the Main North Line railway and Sydney-Newcastle Freeway approximately 90 km north of Sydney. It is the Business Hub, Major Shopping Area and Financial District for the . It is a mixture of semi-rural, Residential, and light industrial. Historically it was, like much of the Wyong District a dairy area, which currently still has the Pioneer Dairy Wetlands. There was an airstrip for some years which has now been built over. History Etymology Not to be confused with Togara, Queensland (near Emerald), Tuggerah was originally an Aboriginal word but its true meaning is not agreed upon by all sources. Some say that it originally meant 'cold' or 'cold place', and some say its original meaning was 'savannah grasslands'.

Central Coast Mariners Academy
The Central Coast Mariners Academy (CCMA) is the youth system of Central Coast Mariners FC based in , Australia. The academy teams play the Y-League and the National Premier Leagues, the highest level of youth football in Australia. Senior players occasionally play in the academy side, as in the case when they're recovering from injury. Ray Junna is the current academy manager. They train at the Central Coast Mariners Centre of Excellence and play the majority of their home games there. On occasion, they also play at Pluim Park. Academy team history First Academy (2012–2014) Central Coast Mariners Academy was formed as a joint venture between the Mariners and Central Coast Football to provide a junior development pathway to the NYL and A-League sides. Central Coast Mariners Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Gosford, on the Central Coast of New South Wales.
