Catherine O'Donnell
Catherine O'Donnell (born 13 June 1996) is an English people, English rugby union player. She represents England women's national rugby union team internationally and plays for Loughborough Lightning (women's rugby union), Loughborough Lightning. International career O’Donnell made her England debut against Canada in November 2017. In February 2018, she was brought on in the 2017 Women's Six Nations Championship as a replacement against Scotland and again versus Ireland. She scored her first international try in England’s 37-15 win over Ireland at Twickenham Stadium in 2018 as part of the 2018 Quilter Internationals. In 2019 she was awarded a full-time professional England contract. She started in four of England's five 2019 Women's Six Nations Championships games as the country won the Grand Slam (rugby union), grand slam. Carlisle, Cumbria
Carlisle ( , ; from xcb, Caer Luel) is a city that lies within the Northern English county of Cumbria, south of the Scottish border at the confluence of the rivers Eden, Caldew and Petteril. Waterloo Ladies Rugby Football Club, known for sponsorship reasons as Firwood Waterloo Ladies Rugby Football Club, is a women's rugby union club based in Blundellsands, Merseyside, England. They are the women's team of Waterloo FC. They were established in 1989 by England national women's rugby union team player Gill Burns. In 2020 they lost their place in the Premier 15s after their re-applications were rejected. 2021 Rugby World Cup
The 2021 Rugby World Cup was the ninth staging of the women's Rugby World Cup, as organised by World Rugby. It was held from 8 October to 12 November 2022 in Auckland and Whangārei, New Zealand. It was originally scheduled to be held in 2021, but was postponed by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first women's Rugby World Cup to be hosted by New Zealand, and by a country in the Southern Hemisphere. New Zealand were also the defending champions. The tournament introduced changes such as replacement of classification play-offs in the knockout stage with quarter-finals, and a longer scheduling window with at least five days between matches.
