The Castile and León autonomous football team is the national football team for Castile and León, Spain. They are not affiliated with FIFA or UEFA, because it is represented internationally by the Spain national football team. It only plays friendly matches. 2015–16 Spanish Stage Of The UEFA Regions' Cup
The 2015–16 Spanish stage of the UEFA Regions' Cup was the 11th staging of this tournament. The winners qualified for the 2017 UEFA Regions' Cup. Castile and León won their second title. Competition format The eighteen teams joined the preliminary round, played as mini-tournaments with three teams in each group, where only the first qualified team will advance to further stages. The winners of groups A, B, C and D joined the intermediate stage while the winners of the groups E and F directly qualified for the semifinals. Soria
Soria () is a municipality and a Spanish city, located on the Douro river in the east of the autonomous community of Castile and León and capital of the province of Soria. Its population is 38,881 (INE, 2017), 43.7% of the provincial population. The municipality has a surface area of 271,77 km2, with a density of 144.97 inhabitants/km2. Madrid Autonomous Football Team
The Madrid autonomous football team is the regional football team for the Community of Madrid, Spain. They are not affiliated with FIFA or UEFA, because the Community of Madrid is represented internationally by the Spain national football team. The team plays only friendly matches. History Prince of Asturias Cup In the first half of the 20th century, the Regional Centro Football Federation (which encompassed Madrid and the wider Castile region, and organised the Campeonato Regional Centro for the local clubs) selected a representative team for friendly matches, and also participated in the inter-regional Prince of Asturias Cup, winning the competition on two occasions (1917 and 1918) when they were hosts. Olivenza
Olivenza () or Olivença () is a town in southwestern Spain, near the Portuguese border, on a historically disputed section of the Portugal–Spain border. Its territory is administered by Spain as a municipality belonging to the province of Badajoz, and to the wider autonomous community of Extremadura. Badajoz (; formerly written ''Badajos'' in English) is the capital of the Province of Badajoz in the autonomous community of Extremadura, Spain.
