Anthony Casso
Anthony Salvatore Casso (May 21, 1942 – December 15, 2020), nicknamed "Gaspipe", was an American mobster and underboss of the Lucchese crime family. During his career in organized crime, Casso was regarded as a "homicidal maniac" in the Italian-American Mafia. He is suspected of having committed dozens of murders, and had confessed to involvement in between 15 and 36 murders. Government witness Anthony Accetturo, the former caporegime of The Jersey Crew, once said of Casso, "all he wanted to do is kill, kill, get what you can, even if you didn't earn it". In interviews, and on the witness stand, Casso confessed involvement in the murders of Frank DeCicco, Roy DeMeo, and Vladimir Reznikov. Carmen Rosa Caso
Carmen Rosa Caso Sierra (born November 29, 1981 in Santo Domingo) is a retired volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who won the bronze medal with the Dominican women's national team at the 2007 NORCECA Championship. She also became "Best Libero" of the event. Career At the volleyball tournament during the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games, she won the "Best Libero" award and the gold medal. She became the "Best Defender" of the 2006 TV Azteca’s Women Stars Volleyball Cup, played in Monterrey, Mexico and won by the team with a perfect record in 5 matches. At the 2007 Pan-American Cup she took the bronze medal with the National Team and also the "Best Libero" award. Later that year, she won this same award at the 2007 NORCECA Championship. Edward Casso (born 1974) is a former legislator in the U.S. state of Colorado. Elected to the Colorado House of Representatives as a Democrat in 2006, Casso represented House District 32, which encompasses suburbs of Denver, Colorado in northwestern Adams County, from 2006 to 2012. Casso (''Cas'' in local dialect, ''Sćjas'' in Friulan) is an Italian village, ''frazione'' of Erto e Casso, in the Province of Pordenone. Its population is 35. Together with Erto, its administrative seat, it forms the municipality of Erto-Casso. Geography The village is situated in Friuli, close to the borders with the Province of Belluno, Veneto. It was built under the Salta mountain, in front of the Toc mountain, upon the Vajont river valley. Linked with a street to the National Road 251, it is 3 km from Erto, 4 from Castellavazzo and 5 from Longarone. History Early history First mentioned in 1332, it was stably inhabited from 1558 by lumberjacks from the province of Belluno. Ouvrage Rohrbach
Ouvrage Rohrbach (or Fort Casso) is a ''petit ouvrage'' of the Maginot Line located in the community of Bettvillier, near Rohrbach-lès-Bitche in the Moselle ''département'', facing Germany. The Fortified Sector of Rohrbach was built somewhat later than its neighbors to the east and west, and in company with positions on the extreme western end of the Maginot Line, became one of the "New Fronts." Design and construction Early designs contemplated a powerful fortification of thirteen blocks. However, the scale of works in the Rohrbach sector was reduced in 1933 to two ''gros ouvrages'', one ''petit ouvrage'' (Rohrbach), fifteen casemates and eight shelters (''abris'').
