Giacomo Girolamo Casanova (, ; 2 April 1725 – 4 June 1798) was an Italian adventurer and author from the Republic of Venice. His autobiography, (''Story of My Life''), is regarded as one of the most authentic sources of information about the customs and norms of European social life during the 18th century. As was not unusual at the time, Casanova, depending on circumstances, used more or less fictitious names, such as baron or count of Farussi (the maiden name of his mother) or Chevalier de Seingalt (). He often signed his works as "Jacques Casanova de Seingalt" after he began writing in French following his second exile from Venice. He has become so famous for his often complicated and elaborate affairs with women that his name is now synonymous with "womanizer". Many of his exploits would be considered predatory by modern standards, however, including affairs with the emotionally vulnerable as well as the underaged. Caswell Senior (born October 27, 1986), known professionally as Casanova, is an American rapper. In 2016, Casanova made his first original song "Don't Run". He is signed to Roc Nation. In 2020, he was indicted on RICO charges alongside 17 others due to various criminal activities which his Bloods gang "Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation," allegedly participated in. Early life Caswell Senior was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He is of Panamanian and Haitian descent. At age 18, he was imprisoned on Rikers Island, where he formed a close bond with his cell mate, who was later discovered to be rapper ASAP Rocky. Career While in a studio with friends in early 2016, Casanova, without previous experience, came up with "Don't Run". The song was produced by U-Dub (of NY Bangers). Upon its release "Don't Run" received heavy radio play from DJ Self on Power 105.1 in New York City, and later also Power 105.1 and Hot 97 there. ''The Teaches of Peaches'' is the second studio album by Canadian recording artist Merrill Nisker, and her first under the stage name Peaches. It was released on September 5, 2000 by Kitty-Yo. Her roommate Feist contributed vocals for the album. In 2002, XL Recordings re-released the album and as well put out an "Expanded Edition" featuring a bonus disc. Writing and development After creating a six-track " Lovertits" EP, Peaches moved to Berlin, Germany. While visiting her old friend Jason Beck, who was enjoying modest European success as Chilly Gonzales in Berlin, Peaches landed a one-night gig. "Casanova" is a song recorded by Mexican singer Paulina Rubio for her sixth album ''Border Girl'' (2002). Andorra participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "Casanova" written by Jordi Cubino. The song was performed by Gisela, who was internally selected by the Andorran broadcaster Ràdio i Televisió d'Andorra (RTVA) to represent Andorra at the 2008 contest in Belgrade, Serbia. The song, "Casanova", was presented to the public on 26 February 2008. Andorra was drawn to compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 20 May 2008. ''Casanova'' is the fourth studio album by Northern Irish chamber pop band the Divine Comedy. It was released in 1996 by Setanta Records, and it happened to be the band's commercial breakthrough.
