Carsten V. Jensen
Carsten Vagn Jensen (; born 28 February 1963), colloquially known as Carsten V. Jensen or simply CV, is a Danish former footballer and coach, who is currently director of football of Brøndby IF. Career He started his career with Næstved IF in 1983. He went on to play for Herfølge BK and B 1903. He moved to Brøndby IF, where he won the 1990 and 1991 Danish championships. When Jensen wasn't selected by Brøndby IF manager Morten Olsen for the 1991 UEFA Europa League semi-finals against Italian club AS Roma, the disappointed Jensen moved back to Næstved IF. In 1993, he was brought to F.C. Copenhagen, Brøndby IF's local rivals. F.C. Copenhagen reached the 1995 Danish Cup final, where Jensen was named man of the match as the club won 5–0 against Akademisk Boldklub. Akademisk Boldklub Gladsaxe (or AB) is a Danish professional football club from Gladsaxe north of Copenhagen, currently playing at the 3rd highest level of Danish domestic football in the Danish 2nd Division group 1. The club was established on February 26, 1889, through a merger of Fredericia Studenternes Kricketklub and Polyteknisk Boldklub. 1991 Danish Superliga
The 1991 Danish Superliga season was the 1st season of the Danish Superliga league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. After about 33 years it had been decided to abandon the format where the league would follow the calendar year, therefore the first superliga season was a short dash through the spring of 1991. The following season would kick off in August and end in May. There was no continental qualification as it had been decided the previous year, with Brøndby IF qualifying for the 1991–92 European Cup, and B 1903 qualifying for the 1991–92 UEFA Cup along with Ikast fS. The 1990 Danish 1st Division season was the 45th season of the Danish 1st Division, and the last in which it was the country's top flight. At the end of the season the new Danish Superliga was formed as the country's new top division. The champions qualified for the 1991–92 European Cup qualification, while the second and third placed teams qualified for the qualification round of the 1991–92 UEFA Cup. List Of Danish Football Champions
The Danish football champions are the winners of the highest league of football in Denmark. The title has been contested since 1913, in a varying form of competitions. Since 1991, the winners have been found through the Danish Superliga championship. The Danish football championship is governed by the Danish Football Association (DBU). The early Danish football championships were decided in a single game, and the competition was not nationwide until its structure was altered before the 1927–28 season. Until the 1950s, the winners' list included teams exclusively from the Copenhagen area. Kjøbenhavns Boldklub (KB) thus won 12 of its record 15 Danish championships before the 1954–55 season, when Køge Boldklub became the first non-Copenhagen team to be crowned Danish football champions.
