Carolyn Powers
Carolyn Powers (September 25, 1925 – February 1, 2024) was an American politician in the state of Washington. She served the 26th district from 1979 to 1983. She also served on the Port Orchard, Washington council from 1987 to 2013. Her husband, Paul D. Powers was mayor of Port Orchard from 1972 to 1982. Born Carolyn Snitman in Fort Barrancas, Florida, she married Paul D. Powers on May 18, 1946 in Mobile, Alabama Mobile ( , ) is a city and the county seat of Mobile County, Alabama, United States. Washington House Of Representatives
The Washington House of Representatives is the lower house of the Washington State Legislature, and along with the Washington State Senate makes up the legislature of the U.S. state of Washington. Fort Barrancas (1839) or Fort San Carlos de Barrancas (from 1787) is a United States military fort and National Historic Landmark in the former Warrington area of Pensacola, Florida, located physically within Naval Air Station Pensacola, which was developed later around it. Port Orchard, Washington
Port Orchard is a city in and the county seat of Kitsap County, Washington, United States. It is located due west of West Seattle and is connected to Seattle and Vashon Island via the Washington State Ferries run to Southworth. It is named after Port Orchard, the strait that separates Bainbridge Island from the Kitsap Peninsula. As of the 2010 census the population was 11,144, and in 2019 the population was an estimated 14,597.
