Caro Llewellyn
Caro Llewellyn (born 1965) is an Australian business executive, artistic director, festival manager and nonfiction writer. As of 2020, she is chief executive officer of the Wheeler Centre in Melbourne. Career Llewellyn is the daughter of Richard Llewellyn and poet Kate Llewellyn. She grew up in Adelaide. Early in her career Llewellyn had a job booking bands for venues. She entered the literary world and became product manager for Random House. From 2002 to 2006 Llewellyn was director of the Sydney Writers' Festival. In 2006 she moved to New York where she was employed by Salman Rushdie to manage the PEN World Voices Festival from 2007. Caro Roma (1866–1937) was the stage name of Carrie Northey, an American singer and composer known for Tin Pan Alley era songs. Biography Carrie Northey (Northly has been cited, but Federal Census records and her obituary and death record insist on Northey) was born in California during the gold rush and began performing on stage at age three. She studied in Boston at the New England Conservatory of Music and as a teenager toured in Canada as orchestra conductor for a French opera company. She became prima donna with the Henry Savage Opera Company in Boston and sang opera in the United States and in Europe, also performing for royalty. Northey wrote songs and poetry as a child and developed her composition skills during her years as a performer. In 1932 at age 71, Northey performed nineteen of her songs at a concert in Los Angeles. Caro Niederer (born 1963 in Zürich) is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Zürich. Niederer works in a variety of media. Her work encompasses techniques such as painting, photography, video as well as silk tapestries. Caro Newling OBE (born 12 April 1957) is an English theatre producer and currently vice-president of the Society of London Theatre. Newling established the Donmar Warehouse with director Sam Mendes in 1992 and ran the London venue for ten years. Newling and Mendes produced over 70 productions together at the Donmar Warehouse including ''Cabaret'' (1993), ''Company'' (1995), ''The Glass Menagerie'' (1995), '' The Blue Room'' (1998) and ''Electra'' (1999). Caro Benigno Massalongo (25 March 1852, Verona – 18 March 1928, Verona) was an Italian botanist who specialized in the field of hepatocology. He was the son of paleontologist Abramo Bartolommeo Massalongo (1824-1860). He studied botany at the University of Padua, receiving his PhD in 1873.
