Carlos Eduardo Pérez Álvarez (born October 27, 1990) is a Venezuelan professional baseball catcher who is a free agent. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Angels, Atlanta Braves, and Texas Rangers. Catcher is a Baseball positions, position in baseball and softball. When a Batter (baseball), batter takes their at bat, turn to hit, the catcher crouches behind home plate, in front of the (home plate, home) Umpire (baseball), umpire, and receives the ball from the pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Houston Astros, Cincinnati Reds, Baltimore Orioles, and New York Yankees. Early life Wojciechowski was born in Hardeeville, South Carolina.
