Carlos Alvarez (born November 12, 1990) is an American soccer coach and former professional player who played as a midfielder. As of 2022, he works as a youth coach for San Diego Surf SC. Youth and college career Alvarez was born in Los Angeles, California on November 12, 1990. He attended Bishop Mora Salesian High School in Los Angeles, where he played soccer. He then continued to University of Connecticut, where he continued his soccer career. He majored in Spanish. Club creer Major League Soccer Alvarez was selected as the second overall pick in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft by Chivas USA. On March 17, 2013, Alvarez debuted for Chivas USA in Major League Soccer against local-rivals, Los Angeles Galaxy, at the Home Depot Center, in which he came in as a half-time substitute for José Erick Correa, and scored the game-tying goal even though Chivas USA had only 10 men. Mexico Women's National Football Team
The Mexico women's national football team represents Mexico on the international stage. The squad is governed by the Mexican Football Federation and competes within CONCACAF, the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football. Renae Nicole Cuéllar Cuéllar (born Renae Nicole Garcia, 24 June 1990) is an American-born Mexican professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liga MX Femenil club Tijuana and the Mexico women's national team. Segra Field is a soccer-specific stadium in Leesburg, Virginia, and the home of Loudoun United FC of the USL Championship and Old Glory DC of Major League Rugby. Loudoun United FC is an American professional soccer team based in Leesburg, Virginia. The team was founded in 2018 as the reserve team of D.C. Nathan Radford Sturgis (born July 6, 1987) is an American former soccer player who last played for Seattle Sounders FC in Major League Soccer. Career Youth and college Sturgis attended Nease High School, played club soccer with the First Coast KYX, and played two years of college soccer at Clemson University. In his freshman season in 2004, Sturgis scored three goals and was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team. Dignity Health Sports Park is a multi-use sports complex located on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson, California. The complex consists of the 27,000-seat Dignity Health Sports Park soccer stadium, the Dignity Health Sports Park tennis stadium, a track-and-field facility, and the VELO Sports Center velodrome.
