Carlos Santos de Jesus (born 25 February 1985 in São Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian professional footballer. He gained Croatian nationality in October 2007. Club career São Paulo Carlos came through the youth ranks of São Paulo and signed a senior contract in 2004, but was unable to record a single cap in the senior squad. Dinamo Zagreb On 30 January 2006 Carlos joined Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb. The club paid his transfer €40,000. At first, he was playing on a centre–back position, but in recent seasons he had much more impact as a left full-back. Carlos also spent six months on loan in Varteks during the 2008–09 season, after he found himself out of manager Marijan Vlak's plans. Following his return, he often started in the first–eleven, but found himself on the bench again when the club signed Leandro Cufré. Građanski nogometni klub Dinamo Zagreb ( en, Dinamo Zagreb Citizens' Football Club, link=yes, italics=yes), commonly referred to as GNK Dinamo Zagreb or simply Dinamo Zagreb (), is a Croatian professional football club based in Zagreb. Prva (; sr-Cyrl, Прва) or Prva Srpska Televizija ( sr-Cyrl, Прва српска телевизија, lit=First Serbian Television), is a Serbian commercial television network with national coverage. Launched on 31 December 2006 at 7 pm as Fox Televizija, the network has from December 2009 until December 2018 been owned by the Greek media company Antenna Group. From its inception until December 2009, it was majority-owned by the global media conglomerate News Corporation, which attached its Fox brand to the operation, naming Dan Bates as the CEO. Croatian Football Cup
The Hrvatski nogometni kup ( eng, Croatian football cup), also colloquially known as Rabuzinovo sunce (), is an annually held football tournament for Croatian football clubs and is the second most important competition in Croatian football after the HNL championship. It is governed by the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) and usually runs from late August to late May. Cup winners automatically qualify for next season's UEFA Europa Conference League, except when cup winners are also Prva HNL champions, in which case their berth in the Europa Conference League goes to the best placed team in the Prva HNL who haven't qualified for the UEFA competitions through their league performance. The Hrvatska nogometna liga () ( en, Croatian football league), also known as HNL or for sponsorship reasons the SuperSport HNL, is the top Croatian professional football league competition, established in 1992. Previously, it was called Prva Hrvatska nogometna liga (First Croatian Football League), but a league structure reorganization from 2022–23 led to name changes for the three top league levels. Overview The league was formed in 1991, following the dissolution of the Yugoslav First League, and is operated by the Croatian Football Federation. Since its formation, the league went through many changes in its system and number of participating clubs.
