Carla's Dreams
Carla's Dreams is a music project from Moldova, formed in 2012 in Chișinău. The band is composed of an anonymous group of singers and composers who perform their songs in Romanian, English and Russian. Their lead singer, codenamed Sergiu, and his bandmates all hide their identity in public appearances by wearing hooded sweatshirts, sunglasses and a face mask made of makeup. Carla's Dreams rose to prominence in Moldova and Romania upon releasing the single "P.O.H.U.I." with Inna in 2013, and have since then issued nine singles that went on to be number-one singles in Romania. Career Carla's Dreams started its activity in Moldova; their name is inspired by the character Karla from the espionage novels of the British-Irish writer John le Carré. Chișinău
Chișinău ( , , ), also known as Kishinev (russian: Кишинёв, r=Kishinjóv ), is the Capital city, capital and largest city of the Republic of Moldova. ''Masked Singer România'' is a Romanian Reality competition, reality singing competition television series that premiered on 11 September 2020 on Pro TV. It is the Romanian adaptation of ''King of Mask Singer'' and shows celebrities singing covers of famous songs while wearing head-to-toe costumes and face masks that hide their identities. The show was presented by George Papagheorghe, Jorge in the first season and the judging panel consisted of singer-entertainer Horia Brenciu, top-charting singer-songwriter Inna, INNA, film producer and writer Codin Maticiuc and online celebrity Ana Morodan. ''SuperStar România'' is the Romanian adaptation of the ''Idols'' franchise and premieres on September 10, 2021. Originally announced at the beginning of 2021, the show is scheduled to start airing this Fall on Pro TV. Thus, replacing ''Vocea României'', which was usually the Fall–Winter music show on the television schedule. Emanuela Alexa (born April 2, 1992), known professionally as Emaa (stylized in all caps), is a Romanian singer and songwriter. She became known in 2020 after the release of the song "Insula", in collaboration with The Motans, which brought her collaboration with Global Records. Life and career Emanuela Alexa was born on April 2, 1992, in Lugoj, Romania. Emaa started singing as a child, being encouraged by her mother and grandparents. Kiss FM is a Top40/Hit Radio station from Romania, owned by ANT1 Group. The station was rebranded from the old Radio Contact, after being purchased by a Belgian radio network. The rebranding came with a number of "on air" personalities, such as Șerban Huidu and Mihai Găinușă, the new network quickly got to be one of the most popular hit stations in Romania where it covers the main cities. Golden Stag Festival
The Golden Stag Festival ( ro, Cerbul de Aur) is the most popular Romanian song contest and awards, held annually in the town of Braşov, Romania. History The Golden Stag was first held in 1968, but after 1971 it was banned by the Communist leadership. After the fall of Communism, new editions were organised starting from 1992. Between 2010 and 2017 the festival wasn't held due to lack of funds. It returned in 2018. Libertatea is a Romanian daily newspaper and online news website covering current affairs, entertainment, sports and lifestyle.
