Carl Anthony Brown (born February 11, 1970) is an American discus thrower and a one-time US national champion (2003) in the men's discus event. Brown was born in Albion, Michigan. Career He won the 2003 USA Track and Field National Championship and was ranked 6th in the world by Track & Field News after finishing eighth at the 2003 World Championships. His lifetime best throw of 66.66 metres was the winning throw at the 2003 USA National Championships held in Palo Alto. Carl Robert Brown (November 26, 1930 – August 20, 1982) was an American teacher and mass murderer who fatally shot eight people and injured another three in a Miami welding shop on August 20, 1982. He was later fatally shot by two witnesses while cycling away from the scene. Biography Brown joined the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1954. Carl Brown (born 30 October 1950) is a Jamaican former professional football player, who played as a defender, and manager. Playing career Brown was born in Kingston and played for Boys' Town F.C. In 1970, Brown made his debut for the Jamaica national team. He represented at the 1975 Pan American Games. Post-playing career From 1990 to 1994, 2001 to 2004, and in 2006, he coached the Jamaica national team. Between August 2007 and June 2011, he was a head coach of the Cayman Islands national football team The Cayman Islands national football team is the national team of the Cayman Islands, and is controlled by the Cayman Islands Football Association.
