Carine Adler, Baroness Reid of Cardowan (born 1948) is a Brazilian screenwriter and film director. Career Adler's break came when the British Film Institute asked her to develop her short film ''Touch and Go'' into a full-length feature. The result was '' Under the Skin'', the screenplay for which took her two years to write. According to Richard Armstrong in ''The Rough Guide to Film'', "What distinguishes her small oeuvre is the fusion of her protagonists' desire and their sense of inferiority." Carine Goren ( he, קרין גורן; born 1974) is an Israeli pastry chef, bestselling cookbook author, and television personality. She began her culinary career at age 26 as a recipe writer and editor at the Israeli food magazine ''Al Hashulchan'' (Around the Table), and in 2006 published her first dessert cookbook, ''Sweet Secrets''. As of 2016 she has published five cookbooks, including one for children, and is the host of her own television baking show, also called ''Sweet Secrets''. Carine Russo (née Collet; born 1 May 1962) is a Belgian politician, member of Ecolo, and author. She was elected as a member of the Belgian Senate in 2007. Her daughter, Mélissa, was one of six girls and women abducted by Marc Dutroux between 1995 and 1996. On 24 June 1995, 8-year-old Mélissa and her friend, Julie Lejeune, also 8 years old, were abducted from Grâce-Hollogne and imprisoned in a dungeon beneath Dutroux's house away in Marcinelle, Charleroi, where they eventually starved to death while Dutroux was serving time in prison for theft. On 17 August 1996, Dutroux led police to the location where the bodies of the girls, along with that of his accomplice Bernard Weinstein, whom he admitted killing, were buried in the backyard of another of his homes in Sars-la-Buissière. Carine Mbuh Ndoum Yoh (born 10 April 1993) is a Cameroonian football forward last played in the Turkish Women's First Football League for Ataşehir Belediyespor and the Cameroonian national team. Cairine Reay Mackay Wilson (February 4, 1885 – March 3, 1962) was Canada's first woman to become senator. She served as a Senator for Quebec from 1930 until her death. Personal life Cairine Reay Mackay was born in Montreal on February 4, 1885. She was born into a family of Scottish-Canadians that were very wealthy and influential.
