Horacio Ramón Cardozo (, born 29 November 1979) is an Argentine former footballer. He played as a central or defensive midfielder. Club career Argentina and Greece He played several years for Estudiantes de la Plata. He has also played for Asteras Tripolis, Nueva Chicago and Quilmes Atlético Club. In the season of 2007–08, he was one of Asteras' standout players during the club's first season in the top flight. Thomas Whitmarsh Cardozo (December 19, 1838 (p. 186) – April 13, 1881) was an American educator, journalist, writer, and public official during the Reconstruction Era in the United States. He adopted the name Civis as a '' nom de plume'' and wrote as a correspondent for the '' New National Era'', founded by Frederick Douglass. He was the first African American to hold the position of State Superintendent of Education in Mississippi. Neri Raúl Cardozo (born 8 August 1986) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He was able to play on both sides of the field and was known for his ball control. He holds Mexican citizenship. Nate Cardozo is an American privacy engineer and former privacy and civil rights lawyer. He spent much of his career as a staff attorney at the San Francisco-based Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), where his portfolio included cybersecurity, privacy litigation, and protecting coders' rights. His practice focused on encryption and information security. Lida Lopes Cardozo Kindersley (born 1954), also known as Lida Lopes Cardozo and Lida Cardozo Kindersley, is a letter-cutter, typeface designer, author and publisher and runs the Cardozo Kindersley Workshop in Cambridge. She is considered the foremost letter-cutter currently working in the United Kingdom and is "dedicated to the increase of good lettering in the world". Her work in slate, stone and other media includes carved memorials, plaques, inscriptions and sundials which can be seen at many public locations in the United Kingdom and beyond. José Saturnino Cardozo Otazú (; born 19 March 1971) is a Paraguayan football manager and former footballer who played as a striker. Known for his prolific scoring ability, Cardozo spent most of his playing career with Deportivo Toluca, where he became the club's all-time leading scorer and won four league titles.
