Captain, We're Sinking
Captain, We're Sinking is an American punk band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. They released three full-length albums. Singer Bobby Barnett is the brother of Greg Barnett who is one of the two singers in The Menzingers. Former drummer Mike May, formerly of Tigers Jaw, is the brother of The Menzingers' second singer Tom May. Leo Vergnetti, Bobby Barnett, Greg Barnett, Mike May, and Adam McIlwee, formerly of Tigers Jaw, had membership of the former ska punk band Kos-Mos of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Run for Cover Records is an American independent record label based in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 2004 by Jeff Casazza at the age of 17 with a $1,000 loan, the label functioned as a small one-person bedroom operation in Brighton, until Casazza graduated Suffolk University in 2010. Tigers Jaw is an American rock band from Scranton, Pennsylvania, formed in 2005. Their first album, ''Belongs to the Dead'', was released in 2006. They released a 7-inch single, "Spirit Desire", in 2009, on Tiny Engines. They released two more albums before announcing a hiatus in March 2013; however, their record label Run for Cover Records announced in August 2013 that the band's breakup was not official. Their fourth album, '' Charmer'', came out in June 2014, and their fifth, ''Spin'', in 2017. Timeshares is an American rock band from Downstate New York. History Timeshares was formed by members of the Oneonta, New York, band The Knockdown. Their first release was a self-titled demo CD in 2009. They began touring the eastern half of the United States regularly in 2010. Kiss Of Death Records released a split 7-inch with Captain, We're Sinking on October 29, 2010, as Timeshares made their first appearance at The Fest in Gainesville, Florida.
