Caplen, Texas
Caplen is an unincorporated community that is part of the Bolivar Peninsula census-designated place, in Galveston County, Texas, United States. Government and infrastructure On April 23, 1991, the community, and other areas of Galveston County, received an enhanced 9-1-1 system which routes calls to proper dispatchers and allows dispatchers to automatically view the address of the caller. Education Caplen students are zoned to schools in the High Island Independent School District. High Island ISD (and therefore Caplen) is assigned to Galveston College in Galveston Galveston ( ) is a coastal resort city and port off the Southeast Texas coast on Galveston Island and Pelican Island in the U.S. state of Texas. Dan Caplen
Daniel Caplen (born 27 March 1992), also known as his stage name D/C, is a British R&B singer, songwriter and musician based in Brixton in London. He was educated at St Edmund's School Canterbury. He is signed to Atlantic Records UK and released his first track "Longing for You" on the label on 19 February 2016. In 2019 Caplen won an Ivor Novello Award for PRS for Music Most Performed Work for "These Days", performed by Rudimental, Jess Glynne, Macklemore and Dan Caplen. Early life Caplen was born in London to a mother from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and an English father, and was educated at St Edmund's School Canterbury. He started playing the piano and the cello in his early teens, before getting interested in production and remixing. Caplen briefly left Britain to study in Portland, Oregon, a move which helped to inspire his approach as an artist. Tom Caplen
Tom Caplen (23 November 1879 – 17 April 1945) was an English cricketer who played for Kent County Cricket Club and Cornwall County Cricket Club. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast bowler. Caplen was born in Rusthall near Tunbridge Wells in Kent in 1879. He made his only first-class cricket appearance for Kent during the 1897 season aged seventeen.Tom Caplen
