Broad And Capitol Station
Broad and Capitol station is a light rail stop on the Muni Metro M Ocean View line, located in the Neighborhoods in San Francisco, Ingleside neighborhood of San Francisco, California. The stop has no platforms; trains stop at marked poles before crossing Capitol Avenue and passengers cross a vehicle travel lane on Broad Street to board trains. The stop is not accessible. History The M Ocean View line opened on October 6, 1925. The line was replaced with buses on August 6, 1939, but streetcar service resumed on December 17, 1944. In 2022, the SFMTA begin planning the M Ocean View#Muni Forward project, M Ocean View Transit and Safety Project, a MuniForward project intended to improve reliability of the segment between Junipero Serra Boulevard and Balboa Park station. Initial proposals released that September called for transit bulbs at Broad and Capitol. Capitol Station (Caltrain)
Capitol station is a Caltrain station located off Monterey Road near the Capitol Expressway, after which the station is named, in southern San Jose, California. The station is only served during weekday peak hours, with northbound trains in the morning and southbound trains in the evening. The Communications Hill residential neighborhood, located just to the west, has no direct pedestrian access to the station. There are plans to construct a pedestrian bridge to link the station to the neighborhood. Capitol Heights Station
Capitol Heights is an island-platformed Washington Metro station in Capitol Heights, Maryland, United States. The station was opened on November 22, 1980, and is operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). Providing service for the Blue and Silver Lines, the station is located at 133 Central Avenue in a residential area at East Capitol Street and Southern Avenue SE. This is the first station on the two lines in Maryland going east. As of 2017, in terms of weekday average boardings, it is the least used underground station in the system and the 10th least used station overall. Capitol Hill Station
Capitol Hill station is a light rail station in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, United States. The station is served by Sound Transit's Link light rail system and is located near the intersection of Broadway and East John Street. It is situated between the Westlake and University of Washington stations on the 1 Line. The station consists of an island platform approximately under street level, connected to three surface entrances via two mezzanines. It contains pieces of public art, including Mike Ross's sculpture '' Jet Kiss'' and two murals by cartoonist Ellen Forney. Capitol Hill had been proposed as the site of a subway stop in unimplemented plans from 1911 and 1968, but voter approval did not come until 1996.
