Capital Collision (2022)
Capital Collision was a professional wrestling event produced by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). It took place on May 14, 2022, at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. Wrestlers from NJPW's U.S. partner promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) appeared on the card. This was the first event to be held under the Capital Collision name. Storylines Capital Collision featured professional wrestling matches that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds and storylines. Wrestlers portrayed villains, heroes, or less distinguishable characters in the scripted events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches. New Japan Pro-Wrestling
(NJPW) is a Japanese professional wrestling promotion based in Nakano, Tokyo. Founded on January 13, 1972, by Antonio Inoki, the promotion was sold to Yuke's, who later sold it to Bushiroad in 2012. TV Asahi and Amuse, Inc. own minority shares of the company. Naoki Sugabayashi has served as the promotion's Chairman since September 2013, while Takami Ohbari has served as the president of the promotion since October 2020. Owing to its TV program aired on TV Asahi, NJPW is the largest and longest-running professional wrestling promotion in Japan. It was affiliated with the National Wrestling Alliance at various points in its history. Tevita Tu'amoeloa Fetaiakimoeata Fifita (born May 7, 1983) is an American professional wrestler, currently working for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), under the ring name Tanga Loa (タンガ・ロア ''Tanga Roa'') (originally Tanga Roa). Fifita started his wrestling career in WWE's farm territory Florida Championship Wrestling in 2009. He was promoted to the main roster in 2011, where he worked as Camacho in a tag team with Hunico. David Finlay III (born 16 May 1993) is a German-born Northern Irish-American professional wrestler who performs under the ring name David Finlay (デビッド・フィンレー ''Debiddo Finrē''). is a Japanese professional wrestler currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). Early life In March 2013, Uemura graduated from Imabari Technical High-school.
