Beijing Capital Airlines (), commonly known as Capital Airlines, is a Chinese low-cost airline based in Beijing Daxing International Airport. It is a subsidiary of Hainan Airlines. History The company was established in 1995 as Deer Jet Airlines (). In 1998, it began offering international services under the Deer Air branding. In October 2007, it received its first Airbus A319 and began returning the formerly operated Boeing 737s. Deer Jet began providing charter services in December 2008 using a fleet of A319s and corporate jets. The airline was authorized by the Civil Aviation Administration of China to operate scheduled air services in 2009. Capital Airlines was an airline headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, that operated scheduled and chartered domestic flights out of its base at Murtala Muhammed International Airport and Ilorin International Airport. History Capital Airlines was founded in 2003. In mid-2005, the airline partnered with Synergy Group to operate Nigeria's viable fringe airports and to open some alternative airports, hitherto considered unviable. The Nigerian government set a deadline of April 30, 2007 for all airlines operating in the country to re-capitalise or be grounded, in an effort to ensure better services and safety. Capital Airlines satisfied the demanded criteria in terms of re-capitalization and was re-registered for operation. In 2009, Capital Airlines failed to meet the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority requirement of having more than one aircraft, forcing it to suspend all flights in October 2009. Capital Airlines was an airline based in the United Kingdom and self-proclaimed "Yorkshire International Airlines". It operated a fleet of BAe 146's and Shorts 360's between 1987 and 1990. History Capital Airlines, the self-styled "Yorkshire International Airline", operated between 1987 and 1990. It was the first airline to be based at Leeds Bradford Airport. The airline came into being in 1984 as Brown Air, a subsidiary of the Brown Group which specialised in the sales and maintenance of heavy plant equipment. It flew a Cessna 441 Conquest II (G-MOXY) on services from Leeds Bradford to Oslo, originally flown as a corporate shuttle but then opened up for public bookings.
