Poggio Capanne is a village in Tuscany, central Italy, administratively a frazione of the comune of Manciano, province of Grosseto. At the time of the 2001 census its population amounted to 101. Geography Poggio Capanne is about 60 km from Grosseto and 18 km from Manciano, and it is situated along the Provincial Road which links Montemerano to Sovana, at the top of a small hill ("''poggio''") in the valley of Albegna.
