Canton Of Talmont-Saint-Hilaire
The canton of Talmont-Saint-Hilaire is an administrative division of the Vendée department, western France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire. The cantons of France are territorial subdivisions of the France, French Republic's Departments of France, departments and Arrondissements of France, arrondissements. Apart from their role as organizational units in relation to certain aspects of the administration of public services and justice, the chief purpose of the cantons today is to serve as Constituency, constituencies for the election of members of the representative assemblies established in each of France's territorial departments (Departmental council (France), departmental councils, formerly general councils). Longeville-sur-Mer
Longeville-sur-Mer (, literally ''Longeville on Sea'') is a commune in the Vendée department in the Pays de la Loire region in western France. Geography North of the Marais Poitevin, Longeville-sur-Mer is situated in the south of the Vendée department, along the Côte de Lumière (English: Coast of Light). The commune gives its name to a coastal forest of pines and oaks. The town's central village lies one kilometre inland, but the municipality itself comprises three smaller seaside resorts, these beings the hamlets of 'Le Bouil', 'Le Rocher' and 'Les Conches'. A celebrated surf spot, named Bud Bud, is found at Les Conches, whilst the road leading from the beach to the nearby town of Angles passes through a marsh, from which one may observe wild birds, including storks. Martinet, Vendée
Martinet () is a commune in the Vendée department in the Pays de la Loire region in western France. Geography The municipal territory of Martinet covers 1,840 hectares. The average altitude of the municipality is 42 meters, with levels fluctuating between 12 and 63 meters. It is located on the plateau of the south of the Armorican Massif, in the Bas-Bocage Vendéen, behind the coast, about twenty-five kilometers from Les Sables-d'Olonne and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. This plateau rises to 51 meters near Bel-Air. The commune is bordered to the north by the Jaunay which winds through a valley sometimes hollow and bordered by picturesque hillsides. The streams of Malvergne, Guy des Noues and Garangeoire have formed other small valleys that join the Jaunay.
