The Canton of Jonzac is a canton of the Charente-Maritime ''département'', in France. At the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015, the canton was expanded from 20 to 46 communes (3 of which merged into the new commune Réaux-sur-Trèfle):

Jonzac
Jonzac (; french: label=Poitevin-Saintongese, Jhonzat) is a commune of the Charente-Maritime department, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, southwestern France. The historian Jean Glénisson (1921–2010) was born in Jonzac as well as the philosopher Jean Hyppolite (1907–1968)
Geography
The river Seugne flows northwest through the commune and crosses the town. The station of Jonzac has a direct connection the station Gare de Bordeaux-Saint-Jean.
Jonzac is located in the south of Charente-Maritime, with the department's capital La Rochelle 105 km to the northwest. The capital of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, Bordeaux, is 90 km to the southwest. 55 km to its east is Angoulême, capital of the neighbouring Charente department.

Clam, Charente-Maritime
Clam is a commune with 418 residents (as of January 1, 2017) in the French department of Charente-Maritime in the Poitou-Charentes region. Clam is located in the ''arrondissement'' (eng. administrative region) as well as in the canton of Jonzac. The residents are called ''Clamais''.
Geography
Clam lies about 80 kilometers northeast of Bourdeaux. Clam is bordered by Marignac to the north and northwest, Neulles to the north and northeast, Saint-Germain-de-Luisignan to the south and east, as well as Saint-Georges-Antignac to the west.
