Caner Osman
Caner Osman ( mk, Џанер Осман; born 12 July 1991) is a Turkish-Macedonian coach and former professional basketball player. He is currently assistant coach of Aleksandar Trifunović in Yeşilgiresun Belediye. He last played for KK Kumanovo which competes in the Macedonian First League . Personal life Osman was born in Ohrid, to a Turks in North Macedonia father and Bosniaks in North Macedonia mother Novi Pazar. His brother, Cedi Osman Cedi Osman (born 8 April 1995) is a Turkish professional basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Basketbol Süper Ligi
The Basketball Super League ( tr, Basketbol Süper Ligi; BSL), also known as the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional basketball division of the Turkish basketball league system. It replaced the former Turkish Basketball Championship (1946–1966) to become the Turkish Basketball League (TBL) until 2015 when it adopted its current name while the TBL name became exclusive to the second-tier and third-tier divisions. The BSL is administrated by the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) and is contested by 16 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the second-tier TBL and replaced by the top two teams of that division. Since the league's restructuring in 1966, 11 clubs have been crowned champions, with Anadolu Efes winning the title a record 15 times and Fenerbahçe 10 times. Cedi Osman (born 8 April 1995) is a Turkish professional basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He plays the small forward position. Early years Osman was born in Ohrid, Macedonia, modern-day North Macedonia to a Turkish father and a Bosniak mother (from Novi Pazar, Serbia). He has an older brother, Caner, who is also a basketball player. He started playing basketball with KK Bosna's youth teams in 2001. Due to his paternal Turkish background, he became a Turkish citizen, as per Turkey's right-of-return laws. Since then, he has also represented the Turkey men's national basketball team.
