Campus Front Of India
The Campus Front of India (CFI) is the student/campus wing of the banned Islamist organization, the Popular Front of India. CFI was launched at New Delhi on November seventh at the National Students Convention 2009. The founder and president was Muhammad Yusuff from Tamil Nadu. The Popular Front of India, Campus Front of India and seven other associated outfits were banned by the Government of India for unlawful activities in September, 2022. Protests Anti-CAA protests The CFI actively took part in the Anti-CAA agitations across the country. Approximately thirty-eight members of Campus Front of Indians were arrested for organizing Collectors Gate Road blockade in Mangaluru on seventeenth of December 2019. Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is a public technical university located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The ''Economic and Political Weekly'' (''EPW'') is a weekly peer-reviewed academic journal covering all social sciences, and is published by the Sameeksha Trust. In January 2018, academic Gopal Guru was named the new Editor of the journal. Guru will be Editor for a period of five years. The previous full-time editor was Paranjoy Guha Thakurta. The Trust had earlier appointed Guha Thakurta as the new editor of the journal with effect from 1 April 2016. His appointment came at a time when many social scientists were opposing the supposed removal of the previous editor C. Started in 2006, TwoCircles.net (informally TCN) is a non-profit online news delivering organization registered in the state of Massachusetts. It targets news about Indian Muslims, Indian politics and Muslims around the world. Its editor is Kashif-ul-Huda. TCN attracts about 10,000 unique visitors daily which includes politicians, policy planners, journalists of major newspapers and television channels. It has been quoted by The Hindu, The Sunday Guardian, and The Hindustan Times. It provides platform for young voices from the Muslim and Dalit communities to be vocal about their understanding. Kannan Gopinathan (born 12 December 1985) is a former Indian Administrative Service officer and an activist from Kerala. He resigned from service as a mark of protest against the restrictions imposed in Jammu and Kashmir following the abrogation of article 370. Central Bureau Of Investigation
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is the premier investigating agency of India. It operates under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. Originally set up to investigate bribery and governmental corruption, in 1965 it received expanded jurisdiction to investigate breaches of central laws enforceable by the Government of India, multi-state organised crime, multi-agency or international cases.
