Calum Cusiter
Calum Cusiter (born 21 October 1980 in Aberdeen, Scotland), is a retired Scotland, Scottish Scotland national rugby sevens team, 7s international rugby union player formerly of Glasgow Warriors and Border Reivers (rugby), Border Reivers. Cusiter played at Scrum-half (rugby union), Scrum-Half. He is the elder brother of former Scotland captain Chris Cusiter. Rugby Union career Amateur career Cusiter played for Boroughmuir RFC, Boroughmuir at amateur level. He also represented Edinburgh District (rugby union), Edinburgh District when the Scottish Inter-District Championship returned to its amateur roots during the Scottish professional teams sojourn in the Welsh-Scottish League. 2005–06 Glasgow Warriors Season
The 2005-06 season is the tenth in the history of the Glasgow Warriors as a professional side. Since the professional side began in 1996 it had used a warrior logo; with a warrior clutching a rugby ball in one hand - and in the other a Scottish targe ordained with a long steel spike originating from its central boss. The warrior is wearing a simple Spangenhelm conical peaked nasal helmet illustrating an early warrior from the Kingdom of Strathclyde. The warrior logo was formalised into Glasgow's name from this season onwards. The team was now officially known as Glasgow Warriors and formally competed as such. Boroughmuir RFC Players
Boroughmuir RFC is a rugby union football club in the Scottish Rugby Union. The club's home ground is Meggetland, in southwest Edinburgh and the club plays in the , where they are known as the Boroughmuir Bears. Founded in 1919 and admitted to the SRU in 1939, it was originally restricted to former pupils of Boroughmuir High School. The badge is derived from Boroughmuir High School and they acquired it in 1913. Although it has lost that direct connection, the home ground and navy blue/emerald colours are unchanged. Scotland National Under-20 Rugby Union Team
The Scotland national under-20 rugby union team participates in the World Rugby Under 20 Championship. Their highest placement is 5th which they achieved in the 2017 World Rugby Under 20 Championship. The U20 side also compete in the Six Nations Under 20s Championship. Both tournaments began in 2008 and replaced the Under 19 or Under 21 championships. The World Rugby Under 20 Championship was known as the IRB Junior World Championship up to 2014. Prior to this, there were U19 and U21 tournaments for the World Rugby Championship. There was also a U21 tournament for the Six Nations from 2004. 2006–07 Glasgow Warriors Season
The 2006–07 season saw Glasgow Warriors compete in the Celtic League and the European Challenge Cup. Season overview After impressive preseason displays, Glasgow Warriors played its first game in the new Celtic League against Newport Gwent Dragons, losing 23–24 after a last minute penalty. Glasgow then did not lose another home game until Ulster came to Hughenden in January 2007. Glasgow drew away to English side Saracens in the European Challenge Cup, en route to a quarter-final berth, but was drawn against Saracens and lost 23–19 at Vicarage Road. The Warriors defeated both Scottish rivals, Edinburgh and Border Reivers, just a week apart, and at the start of April title hopefuls Leinster arrived at Hughenden.
