Calling All Cars is an Australian Alternative rock band from Melbourne, Victoria and consists of brothers Haydn and James Ing, along with Adam Montgomery. The band have been heavily touring for the past 10 years, released 3 acclaimed albums and have received considerable rotation on Australian radio, including 'album of the week' on Triple J. The band was named after The Sopranos episode, ' Calling All Cars History 2005–2009: Beginnings Calling All Cars formed in 2005 with brothers Haydn and James Ing and friend Matt Lonergan, who was eventually replaced with Adam Montgomery. Haydn and James grew up in Narooma, New South Wales before moving permanently to Melbourne. The band gradually progressed through live performances with acts like Cog (band), Cog and The Butterfly Effect on national tours. ''Calling All Cars'' is an old-time radio police drama in the United States. It was broadcast on the CBS West Coast network and on the Mutual-Don Lee Network November 29, 1933 - September 8, 1939 and carried by transcription on stations in other areas. The program was notable for being one of the first police dramas on radio. Format ''Calling All Cars'' dramatized cases that had been handled by the Los Angeles Police Department. A typical episode began by relating the facts of a particular crime, then introducing individuals who were associated with the case. A dramatization followed, climaxing in the arrest of the criminal. ''Calling All Cars'' is a 1954 short film directed by Maclean Rogers, starring Cardew Robinson and John Fitzgerald. The film also features Spike Milligan voicing the thoughts of "Freddie", an old taxicab featured in the film. Something of a curiosity, the film is a strange mixture of semi-documentary about the port of Dover and a comedy about two young men (Robinson and Fitzgerald) who decide to chat up two girls and follow them to Dover in an old cab. The former 'Fantail' restaurant building, where the two principal actresses stop for tea, en route to Dover, still stands in Locksbottom, Kent. ''Still Searching'' is the second studio album by American post-hardcore/emo band Senses Fail, released October 10, 2006 through Vagrant Records. A month after the release of their debut studio album ''Let It Enfold You'' (2004), the band had enough material for their next album. Guitarist Heath Saraceno, formerly of Midtown replaced Dave Miller in late 2005. They spent the next several months writing more material and demoing songs. They recorded over six weeks from May 2006 with producer Brian McTernan at Bearsville Studios in Bearsville, New York. ''Still Searching'' is an emo, post-hardcore and screamo album, though it featured less screaming overall compared to past works. It is a concept album that follows a character dealing with faith, heartbreak and depression.
