Cadman Glacier () is a glacier, wide at its mouth and about long, flowing northwestward into the head of the southern arm of Beascochea Bay south of Plas Point on the west side of the Antarctic Peninsula. History The glacier was discovered and roughly surveyed in 1909 by the French Antarctic Expedition under Jean-Baptiste Charcot. It was surveyed in 1935 by the British Graham Land Expedition (BGLE), led by John Rymill, and later named for John Cadman, 1st Baron Cadman of Silverdale, who contributed toward the cost of the BGLE, 1934–37. Cadman Plaza is a park located on the border of the Brooklyn Heights and Downtown Brooklyn neighborhoods in Brooklyn, New York City. Named for Reverend Doctor Samuel Parkes Cadman (1864–1936), a renowned minister in the Brooklyn Congregational Church, it is built on land reclaimed by condemnation in 1935 and was named as a park in 1939. The park borders Cadman Plaza West and Cadman Plaza East and the west and east sides of the plaza, respectively. The Brooklyn War Memorial and William Jay Gaynor Memorial are installed in the park. Location The plaza is bounded by Cadman Plaza East (formerly Washington Street) and Cadman Plaza West (formerly Ferry Road or Fulton Road), and by the Brooklyn Bridge on the north and Tillary Street on the south. Bridlington is a coastal town and a civil parish on the Holderness Coast of the North Sea in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is about north of Hull and east of York. The Gypsey Race enters the North Sea at its harbour. The 2011 Census gave a parish population of 35,369. As a sea-fishing port, it is known for shellfish, and is the largest lobster port in Europe, with over 300 tonnes of the crustaceans landed there each year. It has been termed the "Lobster Capital of Europe". Alongside manufacturing, retail and service firms, its main trade is summer tourism. Mosborough
Mosborough is a village in the City of Sheffield in South Yorkshire, England. Historically part of Derbyshire, the village was named after The Moss river which flows through the village. During the late 19th century and 20th century, the village was noted for its steelmaking, with Hutton & Co. Sickle works being based at nearby Ridgeway. The village expanded and due to developments in nearby Owlthorpe, Westfields and Waterthorpe. Mosborough which was a township at the time was transferred from Derbyshire to the West Riding of Yorkshire as part of Sheffield.
