The Cabinet of Kyriakos Mitsotakis was sworn in on 9 July 2019, following the Greek legislative election in July 2019. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, leader of New Democracy, was sworn in as Prime Minister of Greece on 8 July. The government consists of a total of 58 members, including 21 ministers, 5 alternate ministers and 30 deputy ministers. Kyriakos Mitsotakis
Kyriakos Mitsotakis ( el, Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης, ; born 4 March 1968) is a Greek politician serving as the prime minister of Greece since 8 July 2019. A member of the New Democracy (Greece), New Democracy, he has been its president since 2016. He previously was Leader of the Opposition (Greece), Leader of the Opposition from 2016 to 2019, and Ministry of Digital Governance (Greece), Minister of Administrative Reform from 2013 to 2015. Theodoros Skilakakis (born October 18, 1959) is Alternate Minister for Fiscal Policy of the Hellenic Republic in the government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, where he holds the portfolio of Government Expenditure. Christos Staikouras (; born 12 August 1973) is a Greek economist and politician who is currently New Democracy's coordinator of economic affairs. Since the 2007 legislative election, he has been a Member of the Hellenic Parliament (MP) for Phthiotis. After the 2019 election, he was appointed minister for finance in the Cabinet of Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Staikouras was born in Lamia, Phthiotis, and studied mechanical engineering at the National Technical University of Athens.
