''A cappella'' (, also , ; ) music is a performance by a singer or a singing group without instrumental accompaniment, or a piece intended to be performed in this way. The term ''a cappella'' was originally intended to differentiate between Renaissance polyphony and Baroque concertato musical styles. Georg Bissen is a dance music artist, producer and DJ. Bissen has over 100 original and remix releases throughout his career. He has also released 2 albums on Discover Records/Recoverworld, "Global Trance USA" and "Underground Anthems 3." Born in Hamburg, Germany Bissen lives in New York City. Sarazino (born Lamine Fellah, 3 March 1970 in Constantine, Algeria) is an Algerian musician, songwriter and record producer, who first created the Sarazino project in 1995 while living in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Palenke Soultribe
Palenke Soultribe is a live electronic music trio fusing electronic sounds with Afro-Colombian rhythms and melodies. Originally formed in Colombia, but now based in Los Angeles, Palenke Soultribe (a.k.a. PST) have claimed a spot in the Latin Alternative music world by putting on energetic shows, releasing musically interesting albums and remixes and always pushing the envelope visually and conceptually. Sally Nyolo
Born in the Lekié region of Cameroon in 1965, Sally Nyolo left her homeland at the age of 13 to settle in Paris where she has lived since. Nyolo started her professional career in 1982, first as a backup-singer working with numerous French and African artists, and by composing music for radio and cinema. In 1993, Nyolo joined the Belgian a cappella group Zap Mama for their world tour. With Zap Mama she recorded the album ''Sabsylma'', and two live records (in Japan, and at Montreux). In 1996, Nyolo recorded her first solo album, entitled ''Tribu'' (Tribe), published by the Lusafrica Label. Ethnomusicology is the study of music from the cultural and social aspects of the people who make it.
