CMLL Torneo Nacional De Parejas Increíbles (2012)
The CMLL Torneo Nacional de Parejas Increíbles 2012 or "National Incredible Pairs Tournament 2012" was the first of a series of Lucha Libre ( professional wrestling) tournaments for Tag Teams traditionally held early in the year. The tournament was based on the Lucha Libre '' Parejas Increíbles'' match type where two wrestlers of opposite allegiance, portraying either villains, referred to as "''Rudos''" in Lucha Libre wrestling terminology or fan favorites, or "''Técnicos''". At times some of the team members were part of a pre-existing scripted feuds or storylines with each other. Tournament Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) held their third annual Torneo Nacional De Parejas Increíbles tournament in February and March 2012. Atlantis (born September 28, 1962) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'' (masked professional wrestler), working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) where he performs as a ''Técnico'' (face or "good guy" character) and is one of the longest-tenured ''luchador'' in CMLL history. Atlantis was trained by Diablo Velasco, made his in-ring debut in 1983 and has always wrestled under the ring name Atlantis, named after the sunken city of Atlantis. Atlantis has held a large number of professional wrestling championships over the years, both in Mexico and in Japan, both individually and as a tag team. José Gutiérrez Hernández (born March 1, 1972), better known by his ring name Último Guerrero (Spanish for ''Last Warrior''), is a Mexico, Mexican (or Professional wrestling, professional wrestler), who works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). José Luis Alvarado Nieves (March 19, 1963 – July 26, 2021) was a Mexican luchador best known under the ring name Brazo de Plata, a name he had used since his debut in 1977. Juan Ebodio Gonzalez (born February 22, 1967) is a Mexican ''Luchador'' '' enmascarado'' better known under the ring name Psicosis. Gonzalez was the second wrestler to work as Psicosis, given the ring character by Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) to replace the Original Psicosis, and is often denoted Psicosis II.
