CMLL Japan Women's Championship
The CMLL Japan Women's Championship, also known as the CMLL Japanese Women's Championship, is a women's professional wrestling championship, promoted by the Mexican lucha libre promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and Japanese joshi puroresu promotion Lady's Ring. Dark Silueta is the current champion, the fifth overall champion and the second since the championship was reactivated in 2020. Silueta won the championship on September 17, 2023, when she defeated Kohakuin to win the title. The championship was first introduced in 1999 as the CMLL Japan Women's Championship, when CMLL was touring Japan in hopes of expanding into the Japanese market. By 2000 CMLL ceased promoting shows regularly in Japan, loaning the CMLL Japan Women's Championship to Osaka Pro Wrestling, who kept promoting the championship until June 2001. Silueta (wrestler)
Joana Guadalupe Jiménez Hernández (born December 15, 1985) is a Mexican ''luchadora'', or female professional wrestler, better known as Dark Silueta (Spanish for Dark "Silhouette"). She is working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and Japanese Reina Joshi Puroresu, portraying a '' tecnico'' ("Good guy") wrestling character. She originally worked as an '' enmascarada'', or masked wrestler but was forced to unmask after losing a match to Zeuxis. Personal life Jiménez was born and still resides in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She is married and the mother of two children, her first son was born in April 2010 and a son born in 2018.
