English Opening
The English Opening is a chess opening that begins with the move: :1. c4 A flank opening, it is the fourth most popular and, according to various databases, one of the four most successful of White's twenty possible first moves. White begins the fight for the by staking a claim to the d5-square from the wing, in hypermodern style. Although many lines of the English have a distinct character, the opening is often used as a transpositional device in much the same way as 1.Nf3 – to avoid such highly regarded responses to 1.d4 as the Nimzo-Indian and Grünfeld Defences — and is considered reliable and flexible. C4 (conference)
C4 was a Macintosh software developers conference held in Chicago, Illinois. The conference ran from 2006 through 2009. It was created by Jonathan Rentzsch after the demise of MacHack (convention), MacHack. In May 2010 Rentzsch announced that he would no longer operate the conference due to a dissatisfaction with Apple's policies toward iPhone OS development and the lack of a strong negative reaction from the Apple developer community. C4 was a New Zealand television channel owned and operated by MediaWorks New Zealand. C4 was available on both digital terrestrial and satellite platforms and played music around the clock, including from their radio side from The Rock, The Edge, The Breeze, More FM, George FM, Mai FM & The Sound. Clarence Maurice Mitchell IV (born May 16, 1962) is an American radio host and former politician who currently cohosts ''The C4 And Bryan Nehman Show'' on Baltimore radio station WBAL. Mitchell served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1995 to 1999 and Maryland Senate from 1999 to 2003 as a member of the Democratic Party. C4 is a grime MC from Birmingham, England. He's known for his songs "Off Track" and "Crazy Song", both of which were playlisted on BBC Radio 1Xtra. Biography C4's real name is Chanda Gerald from which he derived the C in C4. As a boy, C4 sang in his local church choir. His older brother is the garage producer Preditah. The C4 model is a lean graphical notation technique for modelling the architecture of software systems.
