C.I.D. (1965 Film)
''C. I. D.'' is a 1965 Indian Telugu-language action film, produced by Nagireddy-Chakrapani under the Vijaya Productions banner and directed by Tapi Chanakya. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao and Jamuna, with the music composed by Ghantasala. The film is a remake of the Tamil movie ''Dheiva Thaai'' (1964). Plot Chalapathi is a poker player who loses his entire wealth due to his vices. Once he fought with a fellow gambler Kumar brother of a Police officer S. P. Ramadasu and Kumar dies. Chalapati flees and comes under a running train, so everyone believes that he died. Ramadasu helps Chalapathi's wife Parvathi getting her a job as a nurse and for her son Ravi's education. Ravi grows up and becomes a CID Inspector. Chalapathi is still alive by changing his face in the name of Baba, who externally behaves like a money lender, but internally he is a big gangster. Pandari Bai
Pandari Bai (1930 – 29 January 2003) was an Indian actress who worked in South Indian cinema, mostly in Kannada cinema during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. She is considered Kannada cinema's first successful heroine. She has acted as both heroine and mother to stalwarts such as Rajkumar, M. G. Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan. She was the heroine in Rajkumar's debut movie ''Bedara Kannappa'' and also Sivaji's debut movie '' Parasakthi''. She has acted in over 1,000 films in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Pingali Nagendra Rao (29 December 1901 – 6 May 1971), known mononymously by his surname Pingali, was an Indian screenwriter, lyricist, and playwright who worked in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre.
