"C'mon Everybody" is a song written by Joy Byers and originally recorded by Elvis Presley for the 1964 MGM motion picture '' Viva Las Vegas''. It made in into the top 10 in the Philippines and in South Africa. Composition The song was written by Joy Byers. Elvis had previously had a modest hit with another of Byers' songs, " It Hurts Me", in 1964. Recording and release The version that appeared on the soundtrack EP was recorded by Elvis on July 9, 1963, at Radio Recorders in Hollywood. The recording session featured Billy Strange, Scotty Moore and Tiny Timbrell on guitar, Bob Moore on bass, D.J. Homer Louis "Boots" Randolph III (June 3, 1927 – July 3, 2007) was an American musician best known for his 1963 saxophone hit "Yakety Sax" (which became Benny Hill's signature tune). Randolph was a major part of the "Nashville sound" for most of his professional career. Biography Randolph was born in Paducah, Kentucky, United States, and raised in Cadiz, Kentucky, attending high school in Evansville, Indiana. As a child, he learned to play music with his family's band. He was not sure where or why he acquired the nickname "Boots", although it may have served to avoid confusion since his father and he had the same first name. The Jordanaires
The Jordanaires were an American vocal quartet that formed as a gospel group in 1948. Over the years, they recorded both sacred and secular music for recording companies such as Capitol Records, RCA Victor, Columbia Records, Decca Records, Vocalion Records, Stop Records, and many other smaller independent labels. In the mid-1950s, they also began lending their vocal talents to other artists as background singers in recording sessions.
