Bács-Kiskun County
Bács-Kiskun ( hu, Bács-Kiskun megye, ) is a county (''megye'' in Hungarian) located in southern Hungary. It was created as a result of World War II, merging the prewar Bács-Bodrog and the southern parts of Pest-Pilis-Solt-Kiskun counties. With an area of 8,445 km2, Bács-Kiskun is the largest county in the country. The terrain is mostly flat with slight emergences around Baja. The county seat and largest city of Bács-Kiskun is Kecskemét. The county is also part of the Danube-Kris-Mures-Tisa euroregion. Geography The county is known across Europe for its natural environment. Kiskunság National Park is located in the area. Kiskunmajsa ( hu, Kiskunmajsai járás) is a district in eastern part of Bács-Kiskun County. ''Kiskunmajsa'' is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Southern Great Plain, Southern Great Plain Statistical Region. Pest-Pilis-Solt-Kiskun is the name of an administrative county (comitatus) of the Kingdom of Hungary. Its territory is now in central Hungary, comprising the territory of the present Hungarian county Pest and the northern part of present Bács-Kiskun county. The capital of the county was Budapest. Geography Pest-Pilis-Solt-Kiskun county shared borders with the counties Komárom, Esztergom, Hont, Nógrád, Heves, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Csongrád, Bács-Bodrog, Tolna and Fejér. Postal codes in Hungary are four digit numeric. Christian Democratic People's Party (Hungary)
The Christian Democratic People's Party ( hu, Kereszténydemokrata Néppárt, KDNP) is a right-wing Christian democratic political party in Hungary. It is officially a coalition partner of the ruling party, Fidesz, but is mostly considered a satellite party of Fidesz, and has been unable to get into the Parliament on its own since the 1990s (with the last time it did so being 1994), being unable to pass the election threshold of 5% of the vote.
