The Bilders
Bilders (or Builders) is a New Zealand music group of varying lineups that produced a string of self-recorded 7-inch vinyl releases between 1980 and 1982 leading to Beatin Hearts, the first studio-album from fledgling New Zealand indie label, independent record label 'Flying Nun Records'. Known variously from pre-internet times as Die Bilder (German, for "The Pictures"), Bilderbergers, bilderine, Soluble Fish, and High Thirties Piano, their alternative band names reflected a playfulness that challenged priority branding. The band does not maintain a steady profile. Months or years may pass without a performance, however 2018 was a prolific year for remastering and re-releases, with many live performances. Builder (hockey)
The Hockey Hall of Fame is a hall of fame and museum dedicated to the history of ice hockey, history of ice hockey. It was established in 1943 and is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Originally, there were two categories for induction, #Players, players and #Builders, builders, and in 1961, a third category for Official (ice hockey), on-ice officials was introduced. In 2010, a subcategory was established for female players. In 1988, a "veteran player category" was established in order to "provide a vehicle for players who may have been overlooked and whose chances for election would be limited when placed on the same ballot with contemporary players". Builder (abbreviated as BU) is a United States Navy occupational rating. A builder is responsible for the construction and repair of wood, concrete, and masonry structures. Their work can involve sheet rock, ceramic tile, or painting, while senior personnel deal with material estimates and labor projections. Builders also conduct the Navy's combat and disaster preparedness operations. The builder's rating badge shows two traditional tools for construction - the carpenter's square and the plumb-bob. At the senior chief petty officer level, the builder rating merges with the engineering aide and steelworker ratings. At this level, they are referred to as a senior chief constructionman (abbreviated as CUCS). At the master chief petty officer level, they merge with all other construction ratings as a master chief seabee (abbreviated as CBCM). "The Builder" is a science fiction short story by American writer Philip K. Dick. It was first published in the magazine '' Amazing Stories'', in December, 1953-January 1954, with illustration by Ed Emshwiller. Levack, Daniel (1981). PKD: A Philip K. Buildering (also known as edificeering, urban climbing, structuring, skywalking, boulding, or stegophily) describes the act of climbing on the outside of buildings and other artificial structures. The word "buildering", sometimes misspelled bildering, combines the word ''building'' with the climbing term ''bouldering''. If done without ropes or protection far off the ground, buildering is extremely dangerous. It is often practiced outside legal bounds, and is thus mostly at night. Night climbing is a particular branch of buildering which has been practiced for many years in a variety of locations, especially at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, England.
