Bogomolets National Medical University (NMU) is a medical school founded in 1841 in Kyiv, Russian Empire by the Russian Tsar Nicolas I. The university is named after physiologist Alexander A. Bogomolets. NMU provides medical training for over 10,000 students, including about 1,300 foreigners from 56 countries. The university employs about 1,200 teaching staff. Bogomolets National Medical University is one of the best medical universities in Ukraine. The degree of the university is recognized by the world's most credible organizations like WHO, UNESCO, MCI. It offers various courses in undergraduate and post-graduate levels to students. The university consists of 10 faculties. Bogomolets National Medical University also has a separate Institute for Post Graduate Education. Prospect Peremohy
Prospect Peremohy (, uk, Проспект Перемоги, lit=Victory Avenue, translit=Prospekt Peremohy), commonly known as Victory Avenue, is the second longest public roadway ( prospekt) in Kyiv, Ukraine. The roadway was created in the second half of the 20th century (1964) as part of the urbanized area of the Brest-Lytovske highway and was known as Brest-Lytovskyi prospect. At the beginning of the Soviet perestroika period in 1985, it was renamed to its current name. Teplitskaya Elena Iosipovna (1916-1998) was a Ukrainian psychologist, teacher and medical doctor. Life Teplitskaya was born on 4 September 1916, in C. Zhmerinka Vinnitsa region. She entered Kyiv Medical Institute, finishing in 1938. In December 1938, she began postgraduate study at the Department of Pathologic Physiology of the second Kyiv Medical Institute.
