Bo'ness United F.C.
Bo'ness United Football Club is a Scottish football club, based in the town of Bo'ness. The team plays in the after winning the East of Scotland League and gaining SFA membership in 2020. They presently play their home games at Newtown Park, which holds 2,500 spectators and has been used as a football ground since the 1880s. They play in blue. Bo'ness like many other clubs moved from the junior leagues in 2018. The club won the Scottish Junior Cup on three occasions, in 1948, 1976 and 1984, and lifted the 2018–19 East of Scotland League Cup defeating Musselburgh Athletic 1–0. Newtown Park is a association football, football ground in Bo'ness, Scotland. Lowland Football League
The Scottish Lowland Football League (SLFL, commonly known as the Lowland League) and the Park’s Motor Group Scottish Lowland League for sponsorship reasons is a senior football league based in central and southern Scotland. The league sits at level 5 on the Scottish football league system, acting as a feeder to the Scottish Professional Football League, and is above three regional leagues at level 6. The 2012–13 East Superleague (known as the McBookie.com East Superleague for sponsorship reasons) was the 11th season of the East Superleague, the top tier of league competition for SJFA East Region member clubs. The season began on 1 September 2012 and ended on 15 June 2013. Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic were the reigning champions. The 2011–12 Scottish Junior Cup was the 126th season of the Scottish Junior Cup, the national knockout tournament for member clubs of the Scottish Junior Football Association. The competition is sponsored by Emirates and is known as The Emirates Junior Cup for sponsorship purposes. 164 clubs entered this season's tournament, an increase of two from 2010–11. The four new SJFA member clubs – Colony Park, Falkirk Juniors, Portgordon Victoria and Rossvale – made their first appearance. Missing from the previous season were Arbroath Sporting Club who had folded and Scone Thistle who were in abeyance. Shotts Bon Accord won the trophy for the second time in their history, defeating cup holders Auchinleck Talbot, 2–1, in the final at Almondvale Stadium. The 2011–12 East Superleague (known as the ACA Sports East Superleague for sponsorship reasons) was the 11th season of the Scottish Junior Football East Region Super League, East Superleague, the top tier of league competition for Scottish Junior Football Association, East Region, SJFA East Region member clubs. The season began on 27 August 2011 and ended on 26 May 2012. Bo'ness United F.C., Bo'ness United were the reigning champions. Scottish Junior Football Association, East Region
The Scottish Junior Football Association, East Region is one of two regions of the SJFA, which currently organises the Midlands League and local cup competitions. The SJFA was previously split into six regions, but in 2002 the decision was taken to reform into three to try to ensure more games between the top clubs and hence increase their revenues; at that time the East Region was created by amalgamating the former East (Lothians), Fife and Tayside Regions. Shaun Rutherford (born 3 October 1996) is a Scottish footballer who played as a defender for Bo'ness United. Rutherford started his career with Livingston, and has also played for Queen of the South, Cowdenbeath, Tranent Juniors and Arbroath on loan.
