Bhopal railway division is one of the three railway divisions falling under West Central Railway zone (WCR) of Indian Railways. This railway division was formed on 1st April 1952 and its Headquarters are located at Rani Kamalapati, Bhopal in the state of Madhya Pradesh of India. Rani Kamalapati is a suburb in Bhopal, India, in the BHEL township in the city of Bhopal. It is notable for the Rani Kamalapati Railway Station, the second busiest station in the city after the Bhopal Junction. Divisions Of Indian Railways
Indian Railways divides its operations into zones, which are further sub-divided into divisions, each having a divisional headquarters. There are a total of 19 zones (including Metro Railway, Kolkata) and 70 Divisions on Indian Railway System.
